Room amenities in Hotel Nepomuk
All our rooms are equipped with telephone, cable TV, radio, free internet access via WiFi, safe, shower or bath, toilet, hair dryer.
At our reception you can also get adapters & charging cables, baby cots, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries, extra pillows or duvets, umbrellas, newspapers and magazines.
If you need anything else, please contact us. We're glad to help.
Room service
Also for reasons of sustainability, but also because of noise, the rooms do not have a minibar or refrigerator. We also deliberately do without packaged instant coffee or tea bags, but are happy to make a fresh hot drink for you as required.
Cool at the river
Our hotel is part of the Bamberg World Heritage. As a result, air conditioning units attached to the building are not permitted. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the cooling effect of the river makes it bearable even in the summer months. The roar of the water when the window is open helps many guests to sleep, we have been told.
BREAKFAST AT ECKERTS RESTAURANT
From 7:00 a.m., throughout the day, we await you at ECKERTS Wirtshaus for breakfast - whether small and sweet, grainy and healthy or lavish and hearty.
The tastes and demands on a breakfast are different. At ECKERTS Wirtshaus you always get a fresh and individual breakfast à la carte. We deliberately do without a buffet, mainly for reasons of sustainability (conserving resources, avoiding packaging waste) and fairness towards the guest, who only needs a coffee in the morning to start the day.

Power from the river
The river Regnitz, which has been used commercially for centuries and is still used today, e.g. for generating energy, flows right next to and even under the hotel.
Relax in the Park
A few meters upstream you will find "Schleuse 100", one of the preserved locks of the old Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal, and the Hain park, which provides shade in summer with huge trees and offers a rustic outdoor pool for cooling off in the river.

The international artist house Villa Concordia is just around the corner. Artists from all over the world live and work here and exhibitions, concerts, readings and other events take place regularly.
Bamberg – World Heritage Site
You can reach the Old Townhall, the Imperial Cathedral, the Diocesan Museum, the New Residence and the Rose Garden in seven minutes, as can the Bamberg City Theater.
The Cellars in Bamberg are on top of the hills
The Hotel Nepomuk is also an ideal starting point for a visit to the famous Bamberg beer cellars: The most beautiful cellars are on the Stephansberg and Kaulberg and can be reached on foot within 10 to 15 minutes.
